BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Weavers’ House, Waltham Forest

Motto reads: "Dum Spectas Fugio". Square, yellow time scale with white centre in oval cartouche with rebus decoration top and bottom, viz: Winged hour glass, spider with web and fly and weavers’ heraldic shield. Shows 6am to 5pm in half hours. Cross patty for Noon. Removed from Weavers’ Company Hall in 1916 to safe keeping. Dial restored to a rear window of the new annex with new gnomon designed by C Daniel.
