BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

This plain vertical is on the wall of the old stables, the butler’s house in 1984, now (2013) the shop. It is very worn, with stone flaking off. It appears to be made out of shaley stone that has not weathered too well. Upright Arabic numerals for 7am to 7pm, with a decorative symbol for noon. Ref: A R Somerville, Personal file
