BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Falkland Palace [NTFS], Falkland

Six ring sphere - of which the equatorial (time) ring is a double one with 3-4" numerals set between. A sun emblem marks noon. Gold crossed key emblem in time ring opposite noon. Mounted on a small gold ball on six quarter round metal stilts. Blue metal, white numbers and gold sun, ball, keys and arrow head. Arrow gnomon. Shows 6am to 6pm, hour numerals no lines. Quarter hour notches in ring. Plain cylindrical stone plinth.
