BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Grampian Region

This armillary dial has copper rings. The gnomon is probably steel and has an arrow head. The dial sits on a cylindrical pillar with a table top decorated in Ionic style, about 3.5 ft high. Ref: A R Somerville, The Ancient Sundials of Scotland,1990
