BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Grampian Region

This stone dial is said to be 19th century but looks much older. It is a circular dial engraved on a square table, with a rusty iron gnomon. The table sits on two square stone blocks, the upper slightly broader and shorter than the lower one. There is low relief carving of a figure and a crest. A R Somerville, Personal file
