BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is in the picnic area of the visitor centre. It is a thick roughly square slab of pink stone (granite or sandstone), and is supported by a seated long-bearded figure with hands on either side of the head. The dial stone is mounted on a rusty levelling plateabout 150 square, with screw jacks at all 4 corners. The furniture is worn but has Roman numerals read from outsidehour lines and a meridian line south from the gnomon. The gnomon root is at the centre of the dial. There is a small hole at the base of the north side of the gnomon, which is cut in a wave shape.
