BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Manchester (Greater)

Three ring armillary sphere with arrow gnomon and rustic warrior? supporter. Iron, with Roman numerals on internal copper ring. The dial was made in 1983 but Willow Court only opened in 1992 and it was transferred there around 2000. Made in a factory in Padiham, and residents made plinth for it. Arranged by BSS member Aylmer Astbury when he moved there.
