BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Doverhay Place Guest House (1), Porlock

Armillary sphere with Arabic numerals on the hour circle. The motto reads: ’Gather ye rosebuds while ye may’ (from Herrick, ’To the Virgins to Make Much of Time’). Scrolled ironwork base on a three step stone plinth. Note by 2021 the property had changed hands and may now be Private.
