BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Double polar mean time dial. ’V’ shaped dial plate to accommodate 6am/pm LAT. Gold hour lines show GMT, White lines show LAT. Calendrical scale every 10 days: Blue lines for GMT (Roman) in winter months & red (Arabic) for BST in summer. Shows 7am to 5pm in half hours. 6am and pm numerals omitted. Zodiac and month markers. Octagonal York stone base. Explanatory plaque at base. Gift to Otley from the Sam Chippindale Foundation. Makers’ etc names in the four corners.
