BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Margaret’s Church, Isfield

Dial is on a buttress SW of the transept, about 2m above the ground. Vertical surfaces formed by cutting back the cornice of a coping stone, leaving part of the cornice to form a broad gnomon. Gnomon is therefore sloping overhang at approx angle of 30 degs to vertical. Shows 8am to 5-pm in hours as five lines either side of Noon. No numerals are visible apart from a possible Roman VIII.
