BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Seafront, Exmouth

Presented to the people of Exmouth by the Royal Air Force Association in 1993, this brass horizontal dial has a motto which reads: "Make Time, Save Time, While Time Lasts. All Time is no Time when Time is past". Unfortunately it is slightly mis-aligned. The plinth is about 1200 dia by 750 high. The west, north and south sides of the top bear curved bronze insets with ’Dawn Patrol’, ’Height of Battle’ and ’Evening Patrol’. A bronze plate on the side is inscribed ’’Battle of Britain / ’Never in the field of human conflict / was so much owed by so many to so few’ ".
