BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The declining vertical dial here dates from 1993, is of painted wood and shows BST rather than GMT. The dial plate carries the design latitude and longitude. It was made by C J Thorne and its purpose is not only to tell the time but also to advertise Phoenix Sundials.
