This brass vertical South dial on the porch can dazzle you when the sun is reflected from it. It is a circle of 1000mm diameter with the latitude 52 25 marked at the top while at the bottom is the date MDCCCXIII. It shows the hours VI - V divided into halves and periods of 5 minutes. Uses XII and IIII. Three hole fixing. 5pm line oddly near to horizontal. No split noon line. Gnomon painted black has single straight supporter. There is a mass dial on the porch also.
