BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

Circular horizontal memorial dial in the churchyard. The small circular stainless steel dial, quite devoid of ornament, has full length hour lines, half and quarter hours in a chapter ring and Roman numerals in an outer ring. The numerals, from 5am to 7pm are read from inside the dial / the opposite side. The gnomon is a solid and very thick stainless steel triangle that is much bigger than needed for the small dial. The dial stands on a square-section granite block directly between the church and the road. An inscription on the column reads "In loving memory of my darling wife Rosemary Paul. 22 March 1912 16 July 1975".
