BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St. Nicholas’ Church, Penrith

On ground nr main door. Ref.Early Sculptured Crosses, Shrines & Monuments in the Diocese of Carlisle by Rev W S Calverley, 1899 ,Titus Wilson of Kendal, p227. The cross dial, SRN 2046, sat atop this cube.
