BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial House, Dennington

The dial is visible from the north side of the A1120. It shows 8am to 6pm BST in hours, and smaller (red) numerals in mid hour line give GMT. Black furniture on white ground with rosette surrounded by a green annulus in the centre below the gnomon root. This contains the Roman numerals for 12 Noon, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock at their positions on a clock face. Hour angles are all equal! Gnomon angle is suspect too. Stylised (and incorrect) EoT chart nearby.
