BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

The dial is in the front garden. The motto reads: "Use well the present moments as they fly". Stone pedestal cracked slightly. Gnomon angle reported as 45 degs. Shows time from 4am in 5 (outer circle), 15 and 30 min marks (inner circles). 8 point Compass star in the centre with scroll leaf decoration around the maker’s details and date. Reported in 2001 to have been moved with owner in 1992. [Current location thought to be Coddenham. Owner’s name is Sheldrake]. Pencil rubbing by F R Rogers, 1992.
