BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: "Let others tell of storms and showers, I only count your sunny hours" around perimeter. Modern dial with false date of 1767. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours and half hours. Sunface inside compass. Split noon. Cast pierced gnomon. White markings on bronze ground. Present to owner on 25th Wedding Anniversary. Previous sighting gave motto as "Sunny Hours".
