BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Stone House, Keyston

The dial plate is set into the stonework of the south-facing gable end of the property, above the upper window. Upright Arabic numerals for 7am to 6pm are used with a cross for noon. The simple gnomon rod is without support. A smaller stone plate is also set into the stonework above the dial, with initials ’R.W’ and date ’1700’.
