BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cambridgeshire

Some hour lines are faintly visible. The gnomon is cut from a single sheet, with the top bar left for the style, containing a circular cut-out which encloses a small point - possibly a nodus, but no declination lines are discernible. In the interior of the gnomon plate, there is a cut-out figure which is difficult to interpret - possibly a knight on horseback (horse legs on gnomon support side), or a witch (witch’s legs on gnomon base side). More information on maker, date, and interpretation requested on this interesting dial. On the SE face of the wall is a cement-rendered plate similar to this dial plate, but with no markings.
