BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Lygon Arms Hotel., Broadway

A stone block inset flush into the wall carries a vertical South dial with numerals and lines incised and painted white. It shows the hours VI - VI (using XII and IIII) divided into half hours. The hour lines continue through the numerals.There is a thin strip gnomon with a single supporter. It measures about 600mmw x 700mmh. The door of the hotel carries the date 1620 and the dial may belong to the same era.
