BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Nottinghamshire

Worn dialplate with tip of gnomon broken off. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII (shown as "I II I"). Noon gap. Numerals read from outside. Set on a very high octagonal pillar 1750h . Date of 1795 on E side of gnomon may be more correct. W side of gnomon engraved possibly ’GL’?
