BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Margaret of Antioch’s Church, Wereham

An unusually large vertical with elegant gnomon support. Upright numerals in outer chapter ring VIII - ’+’ - IV - VI. Date below gomon root 1725’, surrounded by smaller square chapter ring bearing upright Arabic hour numerals. Hour lines between the two, with half hour lines terminating in arrow heads, and quarter hour marks. Rod gnomon has horizontal support with mirrored ornamental scrolls above and beneath. Small ring near gnomon tip. Dial set into stonework of south tower, to right hand side of bell louvre.
