BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Holy Rood Church, Buckland Newton

The dial is angled in the battlements high above the south porch. It shows VI - XII - IIII - VI in hours, the numerals arranged radially around the circular chapter ring. There are letters either side of the circle: IH to the lower left and EC lower right. The plate gnomon is incised with the date ’1704’.
