BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

96 Newgate Street, Morpeth

Hour marks 8am through to 11 am have eroded, gnomon droops at end. Hour marks appear equiangular. Mounted on brick wall facing the street. It is not possible to say if this dial is serious or not but its drooping gnomon always raises a laugh with audiences.
