BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hornel Museum (3) [NTFS], Kirkcudbright

Hour lines engraved on capital of pedestal. Dial was restored and new gnomon fitted by G Higgs. Gnomon last reported (July 2000) to be in safe keeping pending further restoration. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours. Split noon line. Mounted on square section tapered sandstone pedestal on square base.
