BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Prince Charlie’s House, Jedburgh

An elaborate dial later set into the wall of the 17th century house, consisting of 2 bowl-shaped dials above a diptych of 2 declining vertical dials - now almost unrecognisable. Ref: A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland" : McGibbon & Ross V 5 p 380
