BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse [NTS] (2), Cupar

The dial is centrally on the south face of the house, above the terrace. Motto reads: "Horas Non Numero Nisi Serenas". Lat 56:18; Long: 12 min W. Shows 4am to 4pm in hours and half and quarter hours. Quarter hours marked by dots. Strangely 4am line is above the horizon line. Elaborate decorated pillared surround. Black bar gnomon with single ornate supporter.
