BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Antelope Public House, Birmingham

The dial is in the side street off Stratford Road and buildings to the south of it are of a height which makes one wonder how well it can function in winter. It carries the motto, "I tell the bright hours only" above the dial plate. It shows 6am to 4pm divided into half hours by means of incised markings on painted masonry. It is illuminated at night!
