BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Mary, Ayston, Rutland

The dial plate rests on a stone ledge set into stonework above the entrance to the south porch, and has a protective moulding above. Upright Arabic hour numerals for 6am to 5pm, with 15 & 30min marks. Semi circle, chevron and square at base of gnomon. Ledge support for dial plate which has a top cornice.
