BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundial House, Uppingham

The dial plate is set within a decorated stonework surround, resting upon two carved corbels, possibly canted slightly to face south. It is located above the upper window of a projecting bay. Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, with hour lines to a semicircle around the gnomon root, and no clear divisions. The gnomon is a sold plate with a notch nodus, and there is an equinox line on the dial face. (There is also modern horizontal dial plate mounted vertically above the house name by the front door.)
