BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church (1), Morborne

The dial is set into a square niche in the brickwork high on the south side of the tower and is deeply recessed on the left (west) side. There are upright Roman numerals VI - XII (and after I not visible). Possibly painted markings. Patty crosses decorate the lower corners. The full length hour lines, with split noon, are divided by half and quarter hour marks outward into the chapter ring. The gnomon is a square section iron rod, with support in the form of a scrolled ’S’ with stepped centre section. Motto at the top of the dial: "Now is the time to do good". The date ’1901’ is just above the XII.
