BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

The dial block is set diagonally on a square stone post about 600 high. There are initials F.C. (?G.) 1738 on the top. On the top surface is a horizontal dial with gnomon intact. There is a south vertical in good condition but the gnomon is broken. The north side has ’zenith’ and ’nadir’. North, east and west gnomons are missing.
