BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lothian Region

The dial is usually kept indoors. The top is carved in the shape of two heads like contemporary men in wigs. There is a badly flaking south-fcing dial with Roman numerals and the date still present, and there may be vertical dials on other sides.
