BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cheshire

This dial has inscribed on the face 17 RL 08, and has a sunburst design around the root of the gnomon. A solid gnomon with a curious support. The dial was restored in 1740. It is over 300 years old but the dial appears in quite good condition, compared to the stone pillar.
