BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Grampian Region

The dial stands on a fluted cylindrical column about 750 high (not original). It is a small facetted block, with no star, a south-facing polar hemi-cylinder closed off above, thus projecting above the narrow north-sloping top which bears an equatorial dial. The north and south faces are flat. There are various-shaped simple hollows east and west, and dials on all available surfaces. Some hour lines and numerals are visible. All metal gnomons are missing, the remainder are formed in the stone.
