BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Arley Hall (1), Arley

The dial is on the terrace. The motto reads "Shine not for one but for all". Kneeling figure statue plinth. Other crouching male figure plinths are SRN 1720 and 2113 - all thought to be part of a set of five. The pedestal is believed to be by Van Nost. Hour numerals are Roman, for 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Ref Bulletin 97.1, Jan 1997, p 34, Roger Bowling ’Sundial Supporters, Part 1’.
