BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is on the lawn to the west of the house. It is a rhombicuboctahedron with 18 square faces and 8 triangular. Only the four primary vertical faces are used (diamonds for S and N, squares for E and W). Each face is 210 x 210, and the overall diameter is 500. The chapter rings are nested squares parallel to the dial face edges. The hours are in vertical Arabic numerals. The dial stands on a two tier stone plinth, on a square base on a 12 piece circle.
