BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Square vertical south-facing dial over the porch.
The dial plate is set into the stonework above the fourteenth century porch. The centre of the dial is a square raised panel on which no markings are visible despite the stone seeming in good condition. The wall declines a few degrees east of south, so the gnomon should slope down to the left yet it appears not to.
The elaborately pierced and very large flat plate gnomon seems out of scale with the dial, yet there are no dial markings on the surrounding stones either.
