BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lancashire

This 20th century brass dial is in excellent condition. The dial face features etched characters and a compass showing the cardinal points. Times shown are from 5.00 am to 7.00 pm, graduated in 30 minute and ten minute marks. The dial is mounted on a modern octagonal fluted stone pedestal on an octagonal base.
