BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Overton on Dee nr Wrexham

On the tower. Most inscriptions now degraded. Only legible fragments are "adow" presumed part of motto in arc under gnomon and "[Churchwardens (1)802" along bottom edge. Aligned hours VII - XII - IIII - V, though markings extend 6am to 6pm, in 30 and 15 minute intervals.
