BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Broom Hall, Sheffield

The dial is over a first floor window to the south facing façade, set in the eaves. The dial face is a black-painted rectangle on the wall face. All lines and numerals are cut into the ashlared stone of the wall and then gold painted or gold leafed. THe dial uses upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, divided to 30 and 15 minutes.
