BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial is on the N side of the A994, Cairneyhill Road, about 2 miles W of Dunfermline. S and E faces are in good condition, the W face damaged. Roman numerals on the S face, and on the top side of the E face; Arabic on the lower ends of the hour lines of the E face.
