BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Grampian Region

The dial stands on a moulded stone baluster about 900 high, on three stone steps. It is a cube with four bowl hollows and an upper sloping section with four square hollows, all hollows marked as dials. The hour lines and numerals are clear. Some metal gnomons are present, others are reduced to stumps. There is a ball on top marked as a dial, using the shadow of the ball itself.
