BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

The support for the dial is a magnificent lion holding a shield, with a large head and wide-open mouth, seated on a square base. This is a diamond-shaped facet-head with hollows on all faces, and numerals visible on the edges.
