BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

The dial is on a stone octagonal column, alongside the ball which originally topped it. Across the west face is inscribed ’Repaired 1732’ and initials ’M P’ . The cube has S, E and W dials. The hour lines and numerals are clear but there are no gnomons.
