BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hornel Museum (4) [NTFS], Kirkcudbright

Cubic dial with chamfered corners yielding octagonal faces. Restored by G Higgs. Monogram (AW?) is on North face. Top face is also octagonal (Shows 4am to 8pm) with engraving badly eroded. Slender octagonal section pedestal on slightly domed square plinth with engraved capital ’band’ below dial ’cube’.
