BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tayside Region

The dial is a 19th century copy of Stobhall (7), SRN 1471. It stands on a cylindrical column on a domed square step covered in moss, overall about 1500 high. It is a cube with an ogee top and ball finial, with hollows giving N, S, E and W dials, and there is a second cube half way down the shaft with SE, SW, NE and NW vertical dials. The gnomons are mostly wrong.
