BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Town Centre, Inverkeithing

Octagonal faces of chamfered cube face SE etc. The Mercat Cross dates from around 1400, and the unicorn finial was carved in 1688 by John Boyd of South Queensferry. Upright Arabic numerals, gnomons now missing. A plaque on the base commemorates the tercentenary of the battle of Inverkeithing, 1651.
