BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is on an elegant moulded baluster with the dial block newly mounted with inscriptions, initials and date. Now mounted on a recent plinth of three stone steps with the date 1889 (the date of the foundation of the school). The dial is a polyhedral block sitting on its point, with four large diamond-shaped hollows on a central band with declining dials, and diamond-shaped facets above and below with reclining and inclining dials (12 dials in all). Hour lines and numerals are not clear.
